About WildfireSight

Helping organizations see wildfire risk earlier.

WildfireSight is an Alberta-based wildfire intelligence and climate technology company providing predictive wildfire risk intelligence for organizations with people, land, facilities, and operations exposed to wildfire.

Predictive wildfire intelligence for decisions before fire season and before ignition.

WildfireSight converts predictive wildfire analytics into operational decisions for organizations that must protect people, land, facilities, infrastructure, access, continuity, and budgets. We believe that earlier, more focused wildfire risk information changes how organizations prepare, prioritize mitigation, and protect what matters most.

Our platform, Z1, is designed as a practical decision-support layer for emergency managers, risk managers, operations teams, utilities, municipalities, Indigenous communities, forestry, mining, and oil and gas operators across Alberta, B.C., and Saskatchewan.

WildfireSight Z1 Wildfire Risk Assessment dashboard interface

Built on PhD-level wildfire risk modelling and climate science expertise.

WildfireSight is led by Dr. Masoud Abdollahi, CEO, whose background spans a PhD and postdoctoral research in wildfire risk modelling, early-warning systems, environmental modelling, remote sensing, and geospatial data science. The Z1 platform reflects that foundation: rigorous, transparent, and operationally grounded.

Wildfire Risk Modelling

Proprietary predictive forecasting architecture integrating weather, fuel, terrain, satellite, and ignition signals across western Canadian ecozones.

Operational Decision Support

Z1 is designed for the people who must act on wildfire risk: emergency managers, HSE teams, operations leaders, councils, and community coordinators.

Validated Performance

In Alberta's 2025 MVP evaluation, Z1 forecast 74.5% of observed wildfires versus 65% captured by the FWI benchmark, while flagging a smaller high-risk area.

Honest, defensible, and practically useful wildfire intelligence.

WildfireSight does not overstate what Z1 can do. It does not predict every fire. It does not replace government tools or emergency authorities. It provides earlier, more focused, and more actionable wildfire risk intelligence for the organizations that need it.

Every performance claim we publish is referenced to the Alberta June to October 2025 MVP evaluation. Every feature description reflects current platform capabilities. We believe honest, grounded communication builds the kind of trust that matters when wildfire risk is real.
